Dave (ah lads there's far tooooooooo many of us now!)

THe reason you wont get the moon with your webcam is that it's jsut too small. As Michael says the best way to start is to hold your camera to the eyepiece and fire. WHen your ready see scopetronix for an adapter for your camera. You'll always need your e/p in when your doing this type of imaging (it's called the afocal method). For a close up of some craters use your webcam. Take a short video and down load Registax3 from the internet. Tick auto processing, select your video and press alaign and see what happens.

At last the first clear night for ages and my first attempt using my digital camera held up to the lens.

I took about 20 shots with different settings (fuji finepix s3000) and then touched it up in PSP. Is there anything else i can do to improve it guys.
