G'day all, I've just come across this forum and registered today, I normally hang out on some local australian forums (fora?) as well as cloudynights in the US.

I'm a planetary imager these days, been involved in astronomy since I was a kid in the 70's.

Here's a couple of recent images as way of introduction, you're welcome to visit my website and have a look at what I've been up to lately.

regards, Bird

Best detail I have ever seen on a ground based pic of Jupiter.

The clouds streaming under the GRS and the Equatorial clouds have changed a lot in just 82 minutes.

By Jove!

Well, Anthony, you certainly know how to make an introduction! Jupiter must be placed more favourably for you down under than for us up here. Your images confirm this! I say, they are so good they look like bad Hubble images from space! :D Truly a pair of eye-openers you got there!

And, a cordial Welcome to the Boards too!

:)
