That's a superb collection of images, I've bookmarked the site. Would you mind if I maybe use some of those images for my short talks to our society, full credit will be given?
Glad you like them. Please feel free to use whatever you like and at will. No need to contact me etc!
By the way, as usual, I got 1528 and 1545 mixed up. 1545 is the magic pentagram cluster (as named by Stephen James O'Meara), not 1528.
I know both clusters quite well and with some patience I will have an excellent image for both of them on my website.
If you don't mind me saying so, your image of 1502 is probably one which could be improved without the spikes (although I think spikes look great). There is a very close pair of bright stars which dominate the cluster, and they have become rather merged together in your image. Apart from that, great stuff.
My plans for NGC 1502 are to reshoot it but this time with my Mewlon 210 and whose focal length of 2415mm will yield a field of view which is one-quarter of that which I have with my AP160. As a result, I will have a better separation between the components in the core and which will be embelished by the spikes.
I will post results as they become available.
Anthony.
