Lenses for Canon 300D

Michael,

Please check two messages earlier where I describe where I got mine so cheap. I suggest you look for a "busted" EOF 50 mm lens, preferably one that will not focus when in AF (autofocus) mode which is/was my situation.

Since we focus for infinity when using these lenses, the AF non-functionality is a non-issue and, in fact, a bonus since there will be much less interest on eBay and a lower consequenbt price.

I am looking for a similar situation involving the EOS 85 mm prime lens.

It a super lens for that price, but unfortunately, I've just checked that link, and they don't sell lenses anymore
Try amazon.co.uk, I got it for 55 pounds sterling! brilliant value

Anthony, I have the 85mm f1.8 USM Prime lens, it's excellent, heavy though, but worth it if you can purchase it. I got mine from adorama in the US.

I had a look at amazon. The .com site won't ship it to me and the .co.uk site are charging Stg£89.99 for it, which is a significant increase.

Line up the red dots , both on the lens and camera, and turn slowly Clockwise. All should be ok
