well, I went back and processed a second avi of Jupiter from that night, this one was 39 minutes before at 22.57

To me the colour is a little stronger and is on the verge of been over processed cos the blues are very prominent (blue perimeters on the belts that isn't really there), but hey, its interesting to compare to rotation in the 39 minutes between the shots.
I've gone back and tried to squeeze a better image out of both avi's and it aint working for me, maybe next time I'll be lucky enough to get better seeing.

Hi Dave’

That is really good image and great processing with lots of detail on view. Are you going to Galway in February? I’ve a few tricks I could show you regarding the Blue edges on the image.

Well done on a fine image. I love coming onto ifas and seen the big improvements people are making when it comes to astrophotography.

Happy Christmas and lots of clear skies for 2013.

Carl.
