Hi lads,
Here is my Jupiter image the first one is unsharpened
This image is just straight out of AutoStakkert.
www.dropbox.com/s/aw110vm36dpxkhj/Jupite...efore%20sharping.tif
This is the sharpened image using registax V6. No other processing was done to the image.
www.dropbox.com/s/e1t3i97gq46w06h/Jupite...after%20sharping.tif
Carl.
For some reason I can't put up a picture only links. If one of the moderatorers can put up the images that would be great.

Carl,
After spending Christmas down in Kerry, I downloaded your avi today.
I ran it through Autostakkert2 and then sharpened it in Photoshop.
I also adjusted the curves a little just to improve the contrast.
I've attached a jpg of the result and have a link to the tif file for you to download.
I think .tif files can't be displayed here as they are usually very large files.
Let me know what you think of the result.

Hi Michael,
Here is my before and after shaping.
Before
www.dropbox.com/s/33fyowzvmunjo8x/Jupiter-before-sharping.jpg
After
www.dropbox.com/s/wrfmd90t06wfx1u/Jupiter-after-sharping.jpg
As you can see this image was just sharpened in registax I would normally put around six to eight reds together then bring the master red into Photoshop then sharpen in unsharp mask much better S/R ratio . Your results are very good but you are losing a lot of detail in the C/M due to the brightness introduced by pushing curves. There is a fine balance using the tools in Photoshop without losing the detail. I’ll upload the master Red so you can have a go at it.
Still can't upload Jpg photos!!!!
