Misty conditions in Dublin, saw a couple of bright meteors, but disappointing overall.

Gosh I feel a bit guilty saying I counted 38 in total from S Limerick, including a few sporadics.

Maybe 10 bright ones, 3 or 4 leaving trails and one which seemed to reignite after its initial fading.

A fine show.

3 of us from MAC out at my place lost count over a 2.5 hour period. Many, many -1 and brighter meteors, lots of short ones, some long, streaky ones. Plenty of satellites too!

Overall, this has to be the BEST Perseids meteor shower display in around 10 years.
