Just lettin' ya know!

Hi Seanie,
Are MAC holding their annual perseid meteor show BBQ event this year, I've been itching to go for several years now but holidays and one thing and another has always seems to get in the way.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Something is pencilled in every year, but as there is also the SSP, I don't know (as the committee has not decided yet) which of the 2 Saturday's will be the camping and barbecue night. Personally, I'm looking forward to it regardless of location! The last 2 were somewhat clouded out but MAC still had the camping, which was good craic.

One of the best loved annual meteor showers will be upon us soon. In addition to the Skelligs Star Party, which some are attending, what are individuals and clubs hoping to do for the event this year elsewhere? I am compiling an article for some media outlets by request, and I would like to see what you are all getting up to!
Thanks,
Seanie.
