Hi Paul,
sounds like my kinda fun....must of been some sight alright i read that the air temp for a mile square increases by something crazy like 40c when its launching....definately something you would want to see before it retires
Post them pics when your back look forward to it

I always wondered why a shuttle launch is pretty quiet. I mean all that thrust and little noise. I never knew they use water to absorb the noise.
I was blown away with this launch thanks to NASATV. I now have a newly founded interest in all things to do with the shuttle,ISS.
