This happens with delivery companies and largepackages.
The driver doesn't want to lift a large package, so it never
leaves the depot. The driver gets to the house, slips a note
under the door and leaves quickly.
I've heard of someone tackling (full rugby tackle) a driver of a 3-letter
delivery company as they ran down the driveway - and asking wheres
the package, for the driver to have to admit he didn't have it ...
