Better that old people should die of talk than to have young people die in war.

Hi Deirdre,
I'm not a regular Metcheck user but I would suggest checking it again between now and then because there's one thing we know for sure about weather forecasts for Ireland - they change.

Hi,
The accuracy of the forecast falls considerably as you go into the future.
One time I got the forecast of a clearing cold front 24hrs before it was due to happen. It cleared after 36hrs - an error of 50%.

Clear all week (according to Metcheck and others) up until about i think thursday night which will be partially cloudy.
The little icons show the moon and a cloud................so i am thinking there will be a good few breaks in the cloud on the night to have a fairly good go at things.
If the clouds are drifting fast.............it could be ok..............but if they are hanging around..............not so good.
