Galway Astronomy Festival Jan 30/31 2009

I don't really think it's a 'special' offer as it's the same price on line when I just did a hotel room search.
Shame as that would have tempted me to attend, as we are all counting the pennies these days.

How long does it usually take you to get to galway from dublin on the saturday morning? Cant aford to go fo two nights this year.

The Corib Haven B&B is just 400 yards from the Westwood Hotel and has 4 single and 4 double rooms available for Fri 30th / Sat 31st. The rates are €45 for the Friday night and €55 for the Saturday night - so €50/night overall. That's half the price of the Westwood!

Also just a few hundred yards away is the Kilbree House B&B - I haven't checked availability.

Sorry about this but I must have misunderstood her reply, dont despair plenty of B&B accomadation around Galway, I thought it was a good deal too,About 2 hrs Dublin-Galway on new motorway, maybe just over.
