Is anyone planning on having a nose-bag or evening meal in town on Friday evening before things kick off or before the observing session? I was planning on rolling into Galway around 7pm-ish, and am just wondering if I need to feed the organism before leaving home!

A growly tummy makes Phil a grumpy astronomer :silly:

Phil - myself and Fiona *might* be there around 7-ish. If so, would love to join you for a grumpiness-preventing nosh-up :)

Dave / Michael,

Excellent - looks like we have the beginnings of a whooley! I'll give Dave a bell when I roll in, as I have his number, and perhaps we can meet (and eat?) in the hotel and still make kick-off.

I can't make it to another Astronomy Festival....AGAIN..!

So the weather prospects must be good!!

....or not! Metcheck says 100% cloud on the Friday and Saturday and clear on the Sunday. Typical!! Though its a little bit far out on Wednesday afternoon to put 100% faith in the forecast.
