I had originally booked to go to this flying with Air Arann but had to cancel when Air Arann cancelled their flights. However, I had an email from Armagh this morning to say that Manx airlines are flying now so my trip is back on!
Seanie, I'll see you there so...
Unfortunately, it means I won't be going to the Burren this year as can't afford both (unless some nice rich person wishes to finance/sponsor my astro trips lol).

Tickets are a bit on the pricey side, I doubt many Irish amateurs would have €150 handy for a registration fee to one event.

I see the Whirlpool Starparty is back on, didnt think it was going ahead but it's back in its original venue in Dooley's Hotel Birr, Co Offaly on the W/E of the 8-10 of October.

I think the €150 would well cover entry to both the BSP and WSP.

Hi Ronan,
the €150 fee covers the entire event (3 days' of lectures) plus accommodation and all meals so I think it's very reasonably priced, when you take everything into account.
It would be nice to see more Irish people there though.....

I suppose your right there Bernie, would the WSP not be closer to you?

In hindsight Bernie, I could have offered you a lift from Tullamore - all you would have to do is drive to here.
