Let us know how we can make the BSP
More affordable / logistical for you and we will pull out all the stops!!

Thanks Frank! Tis only having the IMC and your star party so close together that made me have to choose one. I'd love to go to every star party every year if I could - and the Greek star party is still on my list.....

For 2011 we'll do our best to avoid been around the same time as other events, but we are limited to times around new moon. In october and afterwards it can get very cold while observing so we always try and work out a time between the warmer summer evenings and the longer winter nights so we can encourage as many people to get out the scopes and go observing.
The BSP is primarily an observing starparty, we try and have atleast 1 speaker who is observing related.
The annual International Meteor Conference is held in different countries each year, so next year should not be an issue.

I know! If something else happens then I'd still be available to you Bernie.

I'm looking forward to the weekend now...

I will be there.
Probably not for the full event though - depends on workload closer to the time.
