Sounds like a great event. Really glad the weather played ball this time as it is such a good observing site and what a starparty is all about. Well done .

It was a great weekend, the skies were so good on the sat night - saw Uranus and Neptune for the first time and Jupiter was also excellent as were the numerous DSOs on view. The impromptu session in the car park on the fri night was great - have never seen the milky way from a pub car park
It was a pleasure to give Dr Bopp a tour of the area on both Fri and Sun - lovely guy, so many stories.

A big thanks to Shannonside Astronomy Club for a great weekend, talks were excellent, food excellent and 7 hours of observing under the best skies one could hope for.
Dave’s 20” obsession should come with a Health and Safety warning; Jupiter was so bright my eyes were hurting; he should supply sunglasses when viewing the planets.
Well done and thanks again.
