Well, one of the advantages of the area unlike Birr is that its a tourist hotspot, so you have your choice of hotels and B&Bs, accomidation there is not a problem.

Mike,
observing if clear on Friday night the 10th of September at the Dolmen Site.
Saturday 11th will have 3 talks during the day,
The observational talk will be held at 7PM in the Caherconnell Ring Fort media centre followed by Saturday nights main observing.

Last year one or two people asked me about an evening dinner.
Well folks...
It's a Star Party....not a Dinner Party!
To make this thing happen we have to do it this way.

We will be tightning up the running times and the coffee break
will be held in the room itself this year.

As for accomodation....
there is a hoard of places to stay there...
from Hotels to B&B's to Guesthouses...
all various rates.. so shop around!

I do appreciate that people like the social aspect of
these events but this is the best we can offer.

It's a small town and all the places are walking distance
from each other so if it's raining and it's pub time...
I'm sure we'll all hook up.

Each to their own Frank. A club has got to do what a club has got to do! "If you book it, they will come..."
