Hi,
I managed to get a quick and dirty image of Comet ISON this morning during Nautical Twilight. It was probably not (at least I hope) this faint as a dust doughnut was right beside the Comet.
Nearby, visually, Mars and Regulus were a pretty pair.

Nice1 John..
It looks like I'm not the only nut to stay up
til the wee hours to catch a glimpse of ISON..
Not as bright as I thought it would be but definitely
visible.. I used my 12" Dob at 60X.
Now just looking forward to seeing how bright it gets
coming closer to Dec.
Cheers Roy

Managed to spot it after 5am this morning when it cleared a badly placed tree
Fainter than I expected, but comets always are I suppose, came out clearly enough in an image before the clouds started to roll in.
