Its kinda of scary that people are only now opening the boxes and turning this thing on, when is the warranty up on this scope?
It's the weather that's scary. I had mine out 4 times last April but that's the last time that I had the time to do so on a night that conditions matched my availability. I find that I am much more likely to pop out for thirty minutes or an hour with the Scopos 66 ED or C5 spotter on an AltAz, or the original Lidlscope on nights when dew is a problem (to spare the better optics) and I'm currently remodelling the garden front and rear to make it more usable rather than having to head out into the countryside.
Meanwhile I'm also considering making a Dob platform for the N6AT tube because the time it takes to haul out the LXD75 mount and set it up is the main reason why it gets so little light on nights when it is usable. I would still use the original mount for other scopes occasionally. Either that or I'll invest in a Dob with a bigger mirror and sell on the LXD75.
Note to self - remember the KISS principle
Complicated mounts require more setup time. Simple mounts are just there when you want them.
