Take a look at Daves image above.
Imagine the GRS to be the mouth and the two cloud formations over it as two eyes..... hey presto.... '' :D ''

We're not being very scientific here I know but shur tiz a bit of fun! :wink:

check out the uni-brow over the eyes (Dawn also picked that one out) :lol:
not scientific but sometimes you just have to laugh.

I went back and re-orientated the image form the 6th

It looks like that maybe half of the disks southern equatorial belt (SEB) is still there and some of the south temperate belt looks missing here also. I wonder will the SEB be wiped out by the GRS, it almost looks like the GRS is pushing this belt into the equatorial region.
The above image is before the GRS appeared from around the other side of Jupiter, seems like it has left a big swath of white behind it.
