I dont have any gear unfortunatly ,i hope to just start off astrophotography

Well, if I were you, I'd invest in a DSLR. At least you can always use it for holiday snaps also. A Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 MKII lens can be picked up very cheap also - it sells in Ireland for about 150euro so I presume you can pick it up for alot less in the US. This lens, although very cheap as lens prices go, is pretty decent quality and would be great for wide-angle shots of the night sky as you learn astrophotography. When you upgrade to a quality scope and mount suitable for astrohotography, you'll still have the DSLR then to attach on to it.
Just my 2 cents.
