The moon is visible at times here in Tralee but the cloud seems to be thickening all the time and the outside temperature is rising, not a good sign...

Thinner cloud here in Dublin - Moon just about visible. Gonna get my head down for a few hours, and start setting up about 1:20. The IR indicates that there may be some holes in the cloud later on. Hopefully I get a break at 03:00. Here's hoping that we cop a break - even a few minutes at totality.

Yep - even that would make it worthwhile.
Keep the chins up folks. You know how quickly the weather can change in Ireland. There's no saying what will happen between now and 04:00.
I'm staying up regardless, since I asked for tomorrow off work.
