UFO last night & ET Life was created by Frank Ryan
Firstly,
I heard on the radio this morning there was mass UFO sightings last night.
Was this anything to do with that Chineese sat. that was due for re-entry?
Did anyone see anything?

I watched a few interesting docu's over Christmas.
Some are available on Google. (URL'd bellow)
The disclosure Project was interesting in that so many credible people came forward.

Me?, Personally?
Look, this is what I think...
to say that there is no other form of 'life' out there is crazy.
As Kay says in MIB:
''A person is smart. People are dumb.
Everything they've ever "known" has been proven to be wrong.
A thousand years ago everybody ''knew'' as a fact, that the earth was the center of the universe.
Five hundred years ago, they ''knew'' it was flat.
Fifteen minutes ago, you ''knew'' we humans were alone on it.
Imagine what you'll know tomorrow.''

This one was on Discovery and has black Box recordings
of pilots, airports and norad discussing UFO sightings.
This is one of the better 'UFO' docu's I've seen.

This next one concerns the UV video that was brodcast by NASA during
some of the Shuttle missions.
We've all heard the 'Ice Crystals' and 'Debris' explinations but some of
the stuff they have seen is more curious.
The best bit for me is when one shuttle pilot reports in the usual deadpan matter of fact voice...
"Houston this is Discovery, we still have the Alien spacecraft under observance."
At first NASA denied everything, when they realised they couldn't deny an actual recording, they acknowledged it was real - but said it was a joke.

The docu appears low budget but the best part is the interview with
Martyn Stubbs, A Cable TV manager from Vancover, Canada whom actually
took the effort to get a dish and tune into NASA's video downlink and record all the missions.
He saw some wierd stuff!
Better yet is the outright admittance from past shuttle and Apollo mission pilots that UFOS were not only seen but that they reported they were of intelligent origon.

This docu then takes ''The Secret NASA Transmissions -The Smoking Gun''
to the next level and go's into the physics of what was seen on the tapes.
(some of which I have serious issues with!)
Anyway see for yourself, it makes for interesting watching....

And on a lighter note!
Here are som videos I found on Google about ''UFO'S!''
In the first one listen to the ''meteorologist '' try to explain a fireball..
''extinct constellation'' ...I thought I was gonna P myself!
video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-678855...3466195&q=meteor

I guess at least this guy knew the diffrence between a metior and a meteorite! - good man!

Here is a cool shot of a fireball cought at a BBQ in Australia
video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-201449...2611285&q=meteor

And possibly a sat. burning up during re-entry over Finland.?
There is still no know explination....maybe a spy sat?

and on the lightest note of all
how cool is this?

Well Frank, just because something could be true doesn't mean it is. Just because life COULD exist elsewhere doesnt mean it DOES.

What I fail to understand is that when some phenomenon is 'unexplained' people automatically assume it must be some alien life form visiting us.

Only human arrongance would assume that if some advanced alien civilisation with the technology to travel incredibly vast distances could visit us, then they would choose to do so. Would you travel half way round the galaxy to visit some ant-pile. Lets face it, thats what we would appear to a civilsation that advanced.

I've seen snormnally sane and rational people trot out so called 'evidence' of ET, knowing in their hearts that there was a credible explanation. 'Oooh no' they say, 'Thats not a defocussed aircraft, thats ET.'

Unless we can come by some hard imperical evidence that ET is visiting us then I choose to beleive that the likelyhood is they are not. Ask yourself another question. if one group of people were likely to see 'ET' who would it be. Astronomers of course. But the fact is, astronomers generally have the know skills to see these things for what they really are.

... and another thing which often crosses my mind when I here UFO stories. If you were a interstellar traveller with advanced technology capable of travelling vast distances would you advertise your presence by flashing lights and zipping around the sky like a mad thing? No of course not, you would make damn sure you stayed invisible to the natives. Unless of course you want to be seen, in which case you might as well land and introduce yourself. Surely if you had the tech to travel the stars it would be too hard to stay out of sight and observe stealthily.

Doesn;t it seem rather convenient that all accounts of UFO's involve brightly shining objects?

Not to mention the fact that if they'd taken the trouble to learn something about us from all those TV and radio transmissions we've been blasting out recently they would have realised by now that we let some seriously nasty individuals run around loose on this rock. Personally, if I was an ET, I'd stay at home.

The fact that last night was the first really clear night in ages, people probably had forgotten that stars actually exist beyond the clouds, easy to forget since they are seen so rarely.

As for UFOs, I've been looking up for the better part of 20 years and never seen anything that you would call a UFO.

The beings on Vega are looking at Dallas right now.

They are wondering: "Who shot JR?"
