UFO in focusing avi of moon

I know of no known propulsion system which would stop and turn around any high altitude object so quickly.

(Much less the wind blowing a weather balloon around.)

The higher up the object the more absurd such a notion appears.

A helicopter is a slight possibility, but the pilot must be very drunk to fly like that.

I often seen clouds at one altitude going in one direction while semi visible clouds above it going in a totally different direction, do you not think that the object behaved like it was going from one layer to another??

Take your scope out and look at the Moon. Dangle something 'a few feet in front of the scope' and report what you see.

Can't concieve of two layers of contra-flowing air being so close to each other.

If the wind is blowing strongly north in Howth it's not going to be blowing south in Dollymount.

It's a spider busy nearby I'd say!.

Others have given reasons why an insect is an implausible cause. If you want to insist its an insect then provide a case where an insect would produce the recorded observation for others to consider.
