Hot air balloons navigate by moving up and down quite small amounts to change direction of travel and in the lee of mountains contra flowing air streams are common.Can't concieve of two layers of contra-flowing air being so close to each other.

You are of course right about "a few feet " Albert.
It may not even be living.
It is hard to credit a large weather balloon going all over the place like that though.
Maybe it is a "party balloon" a few km away,drifting up from a house party! Catching the wind and reversing direction as it cleared the houses.
"Reproducible Experimentation" may provide an answer it all right.
Insects and spiders crawling inside optics would be completely invisible in a image, like the secondary mirror holder.

I had the same problem Frank and then downloaded the Div X codecs for Winows media player 11.

Strange. For one I had no problems playing this. mplayer played it fine on solaris and VLC www.videolan.org/vlc/ played it fine on windows.
