I nominate Deirdre Kelleghan for her work in outreach.
Deirdre tirelessly takes her talks to school kids, scouts and the general public. She is constantly preparing materials, and talks and does so with infectious enthusiasm.
We all know her drawings on these posts and cloudy nights where she has won sketch of the day a number of times, but I wonder how many are aware of the time she puts into public awareness of Astronomy.
Hats off to Dee.

Naw, Michael. I hear Seanie hasn't a telescope.
He'd still have noticed the supernova that caused the Crab Nebula exploding then.
Still mightn't have reported it, though.

I would second Dee for for nomination. A girl of many hats desrves a crown.
Seanie's distinctive Canadian accent makes him an auditory reference point at any star party  What he lacks in scopes, he makes up for in presence.
