Affordable Astronomy was created by dogstar
I've just been looking at some of the new price deal's with astronomy Ireland on their web site and i'd just like to say fair play to Carl (you know Carl he was on the sky at night :D ) as i know that he has been working tirelessly on offering the best price possible. Now that's bringing Astronomy to the masses well done mate.

oh wise man why is the universe so perfect?ah because symmetry loves herself.

I would like to concur with your sentiments.
Carl has done a great job at bringing affordable Astronomy to Ireland.
We now have an astronomy store where we can be pretty sure that we are getting value for money.
I've had a look at the new pricing and they are very competitive with anything else on the Net. Coupled with the fact that you are buying from a local supplier - I'll go that route any day.
Well done Carl. :D

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments guys. It's great to be let to run the shop my way, I'm putting in a lot of time and effort into the place. As I said about a year ago there is no reason why people should have to buy there equipment overseas. The prices is just one of the first steps in changing things around. As a guy said one time (A LOT DONE A LOT MORE TO DO). There will be a new website coming online soon. The distributorship is coming on well, there is a lot of shops around the country interested in stocking Scopes and other bits & bobs. If anyone one has anything to add to the new website or would like to see certain things or topics or if you have any suggestions at all I would be interested to here your thoughts. Anyway hope you like the way things are heading.

Carl.

Well now that you mention it a link to ilpac, sdas and to these forums would be nice :-)

I've had links to AI from the sdas and ilpac sites for some time. Never got a reply when I asked if AI would return the favour.

Hi Albert,

I don't think that will be a problem. I'm surprised you haven't mention this to me before now.
