I don't think that will be a problem. I'm surprised you haven't mention this to me before now.

Guys,
Just let me be clear, I have been tasked by AI with 'out reach' to other clubs. I have been in contact with some clubs already and have been actively working with these clubs to further the ends of both sides. I asked this question before, If you feel your club can work with AI in areas which benefit both then come talk to me. There are lots of resource at AI which can benefit your society. examples are mailing lists, our own website, sponsorship, speaker contacts etc. All of this can be done. All AI asks in return is that you help us by announcing AI talks at meetings newsletters etc.
If at the end of all this one person gets involved in astronomy, who otherwise would not have, then we have all done our job.
Albert: I'll get those links sorted right away (ILPAC and SDAS)
Seanie: I'll do the same for TAS.
Anyone else??
Anyway back to the thread. Just to second what Declan and John said. As someone who sees what Carl does day in day out, I also offer him my wholehearted congrats on the new pricing. I know how hard he worked on this. It seems there will always be a silent few who will never be happy even if Carl was giving the gear away for free, but the rest of us can see that for what it is.
As for AI, I would now like to see them stock a wider range of product brands, but personally I don't wanna see Meade scopes being sold. I just have little confidence in the QA of that brand. But thats just my opinion. Anyway we already have an ROI Meade dealer doing a fine job. So go on Carl get those dealerships for all those yummy brands and congrats on what you have already done.
