It was just a side by side comparison,
John
??
So it's not really any comparision at all.I guess Dave G had a valid point when he said that some people will nit pick even if Carl gave it away for free?I guess only the reall Astronomy enthusiasts can see the good that Carl is doing.
Now that's enthusiasim Dave something here a lot of people seem to have sadly lost to politics. If at the end of all this one person gets involved in astronomy, who otherwise would not have, then we have all done our job.
oh wise man why is the universe so perfect?ah because symmetry loves herself.

11067-XLT C11-S GT (XLT) €2701
Thats a few euro cheaper than in the UK, before you even factor in shipping. In that case it would make sense to buy from A&S.
Then again Conns Cameras on Clarendon Street seem about €50 cheaper for the Celestron scopes they sell!
As ever, shop around. The A&S prices seem good if plan on spending a couple of grand or more; when you factor in the shipping anyway. Up to a grand or so the prices are not as good. Based on my random look at a few prices anyway.

you will never find a shop that is cheaper for every piece of equipment they sell. I always say shop around and when satisfied then buy from the shop you think is best.
If you feel ripped off afterwards, then you didn't do your homework.

Hi Albert,
I can't find any celestron Astromasters or Omni range firstScopes on telescope-service To compare prices to.
Can you send me a link to where the Celestron starter scopes are.
Also Conns are part of our distributorship one of many Shops around the country.
