July session .... 6.25 hrs darkness
Yea Anthony! No excuses this time!Anthony, we do hope to see you in Parnon in the July session!
August session .... 8.00 hrs darkness
I hate doing this to my Irish friends but I am very much biased towards August. It is also an excuse to have these same friends back in August.
Dear friends ... and that guy O'Connell .... :evil:Will both your zimmer frame and telescope fit in your car for the journey up to Mt Pardon?

Why don't you leave your scopes and cameras at home and just come on up and have some fun. There will be plenty more clear skies throughout the rest of the year.I hate doing this to my Irish friends but I am very much biased towards August. Hi Dave,Anthony,

We have two available weekends in August ... the first will be occupied by the eclipse in Novo whereas the second towards the end of the month will be for the excursion to Parnon.
In fact, it is really sweet the way things turned out since the second weekend at the end of the month is a step away from fall and the longer evenings.

Pardon??? Let a weekend without a moon go unused/unexploited? Under a best case scenario, we have twelve such precious weekends per year ...

Remember the details I gave you on the airport bus at Novo and the 2-euro fee to the hotel? I made a mistake ... you want the (free) bus with number "666" and sign "MAFIOSOBUSFORUNSUSPECTINGTOURISTSANDCEMENTSHOES".
