What is to stop anyone in Ireland buying from any other EU country?
Hinds is probably the only one who won't ship to IRL and thats because it has agreements in place with AI etc. Its nothing to do with Celestron. If however I want to buy a scope from Greenwitch or from Telescope Service etc etc then its not a problem. Pricing however is under the control of Celestron and a direct translation from $ to Sterling is more of a prohibition.
I don't think you're correct there. What I have always heard is that Celestron prevent their dealers from selling to other countries. Perhaps someone from AI could set the record straight on this one?
