Paul,

Yes, I do recall reading that the Aug 1 eclipse also covers Chinese territory. Of course, the biggie is next year where China will have the honour of being the prime location.

tell me more - is there another Eclipse due, primarily in Asia? as i will be there at that time, hopefully with a scope.

Paul

the temperatures were also very comfortable.

You got to see it and the weather was pleasant, we're here under clouds freezing to death and saw nothing, do I sound jealous ???

Great photos, John. Welcome to Ireland!
...
Dave, DO prepare yourself for a starparty in Greece.
I am now sorting out some details with my club (EAE) and I 'll soon come back with more info (possible dates, arrangements, etc).

With the new Shannon to Paris connection, flights to Athens are quite reasonable. I did a rough check for a May timeframe. Return flights from Shannon for €350- not bad.

John / Anthony- great shots !!
